AB - A study by a Mennonite of settlement patterns and trends in Wilmot Township, the only area of Ontario settled by both Amish and Mennonites. The author surveys the whole township for the period from 1860 to 1980 but comments more specifically on change during the 1980s in the more limited area around New Hamburg, based on data from members of four Mennonite churches, the Steinmann Church, the Hillcrest Church, the Nith Valley Church and the Living Waters Community Fellowship.
