AB - <p>Draper reflects on the changes in fashion and teaching among the youth of the 'plain people' Markum-Waterloo Mennonite community in which she grew up. She recalls the wedding of his brother in 1969, at the time when mini-skirts were the new fashion and so many girls argued with their mothers about skirt lengths. By comparing a photograph of a wedding in Sep 2018, she found that except for the length of skirts, the style of dress has not changed much in fifty years.</p>
