An introduction explains that Henry and Susannah Ernst in 1864 sold one acre to Daniel Martin, trustee of the Religious Society of Mennonites, for a meeting house and burial ground. Most burials were members of the Ernst, Schmitt and Frey families. When County Road 15 was relocated and widened, the cemetery was moved and the stones were salvaged and reorganized.},
