AB - Transcriptions with index of some 480 markers. The introduction notes that Saint James was the first organized congregation in Elmira, being served by the Rev. Jacob Werth who also founded Saint Matthew's in Conestogo during his time at Elmira. During the pastorate of H.W.H. Wichman (1859-1861) a schism led to the founding of St Paul's, Elmira. A brick church was built in 1869 and land for the cemetery was bought in 1884.
