AB - Reviews Baptist work among German immigrants in Ontario. Revival efforts are exemplified in the lives of three men: August Rauschenbusch, Heinrich Schneider, and Johannes Stumpf. These men faced tremendous challenges not only from their Lutheran, Reformed, and Catholic neighbors, but also from German Methodists who shared the Baptist concern for revival among German immigrants. Separation from the traditional state church offered a difficult transition for German immigrants. [D. Black]
