AB - Report of a study involving test excavations, surface surveys and discussions with an aged descendant of John Groh, the original pioneer settler of Concession 1, Lot 7, Waterloo Township. Included are a history of the Groh family, a description of the property, and a catalogue and analysis of the artifactual remains. Although no significant cultural deposits were found, the study concludes that the whole property has great historical interest and that the original structural details of the buildings deserve further study.
