The paper moved to Waterloo when it was sold to Moses Springer, and to Berlin in 1903 when it amalgamated with the "Deutsche Zeitung". It united with the "Canadisches Volksblatt" in 1908, and was absorbed a year later by the "Berliner Journal". The Waterloo Historical Society holds issues for 27 February 1852, 25 March 1853, 14 May 1868, and 25 December 1890.
