AB - Jacob Brenneman, the son of an Amish Mennonite pioneer family, grew up in Wilmot Township. He settled in South Easthope Township at the time of his marriage about 1840. An account of each of the ten children is given. Many of them settled just beyond the boundaries of Waterloo County, some of their descendants later moving to Kitchener.
