AB - An unpublished historical novel telling of the migrations of the Anabaptists from Switzerland to the Palatinate, then to Pennsylvania and lastly to Canada in 1819. Based on the experiences of the Weber family, the author describes travels, new beginnings and hardships through several generations. The Old Order Mennonite way of life is conveyed through folklore, traditions and Pennsylvania German dialect sayings. This photocopy of the original manuscript is part of the Pennsylvania German Folklore Society of Ontario collection in the Conrad Grebel College Archives.
