Names and vital dates are given of all descendants, with their spouses and children. The author explains the roles of those who took part in the Mennonite migrations to Waterloo County in the early nineteenth century, notably Bishop Benjamin Eby (pp. 26-45), Samuel Eby, Daniel Eby, David Eby, Peter Eby, John Eby, George Eby, Barbara Eby Schneider and Susannah Eby Winger. The book was reprinted in a facsimile edition by Aden Eby in 1970.
