AB - The diary of a Mennonite farmer, Gordon Christian Eby (1890-1965), son of Christian Eby, the well-known healer or charmer. The diaries describe farm life in Waterloo County before the First World War, with detailed information about family life and the family enterprise of market-gardening. Entries also record shows and entertainments, including the cityhood celebrations of 1912. Gordon was an amateur photographer and examples of his work are included in the book, with a chart of the Eby family tree.
