AB - A reprint by Kelvinprint of James Marr Brydone's account of his expedition with British emigrants through Upper Canada, including a trek through the Waterloo area described on pages 31-33 and 42. He recounts crossing the Grand River, visiting Schneider's Mills and travelling to Wilmot where he meets a Mr Cushman, and mentions Galt and the Speed River. Brydone also comments on the Waterloo area landscape and soil, noting its sandy consistency. A loose map marks the route taken by the travellers.
