The introduction notes that the trustees of the Wilmot Methodist Burial Ground and Chapel bought one-half acre of Lot 14 from Thomas Johnson in 1842 and one-half acre in 1864 from his nephew Samuel Johnson. Chapel services were discontinued around 1900; burials continued until 1939 but the cemetery has since been abandoned, neglected and vandalized.},
