Nearly 800 markers are transcribed and indexed for the West Woolwich or Elmira Mennonite Cemetery which adjoins the Old Order meeting house built in 1854 on the southeast corner of Lot 104. The present red brick Mennonite church was built in about 1923 and the cemetery is also used by members of the Markham-Waterloo Conference who meet in the white meeting house. Over 300 markers are recorded for the burial ground attached to the new Conestogo meeting house which was built in 1894. About 280 burials are noted for the St Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery which includes the Old Conestogo Cemetery dating from the 1850s. The North Woolwich Mennonite Cemetery was associated with the church built in 1872, with about 640 burials recorded since 1875; members of the Floradale Mennonite Church used this cemetery until 1945 before establishing their own. Details of Woolwich residents' burials in the South Peel Mennonite Cemetery, located in Wellington County one mile west of Wallenstein, are included.}, year = {1984}, number = {Report}, pages = {1 v.
